Southface Energy Institute administers the EarthCraft family of programs, together with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. Since 1978, Southface has provided dynamic education, research and programs that focus on low-impact, efficient practices for the built environment. Southface provides technical services for the EarthCraft hprogram and is involved in every aspect of the EarthCraft process, beginning at design and continuing through initial occupancy.

Southface ensures the integrity of every house certified through inspections and diagnostic testing of every certified home and conducts EarthCraft  training for builders, plus classes designed for real estate agents, architects, mortgage lenders and subcontractors.

EarthCraft is only one of the many programs that Southface administers, and members can get involved in a wide range of programs. Southface is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and membership fees are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
